Tic-tac-toe is played on a 3x3 grid. Two players take turns marking squares, one using X and the other O.
The first player to line up three of their marks in a row — across, down, or diagonally — wins. If the grid fills with no line, the game is a draw.
Take the centre when you can, watch for two-way threats, and always block your opponent's line of three.
