How to Play Checkers
Checkers is played on an 8x8 board. Each side starts with twelve pieces on the dark squares and moves diagonally forward one square at a time.
You capture an opponent's piece by jumping over it to an empty square beyond, and multiple jumps can be chained in a single turn. A piece that reaches the far row becomes a king and may move both forward and backward.
The goal is to capture all your opponent's pieces or leave them with no legal move. Control the centre and watch for double jumps.
